Meditate Alongside the Energy and Creative Mastership of the Redwoods.
What does it feel like to meditate inside one of the most ancient redwood forests on Earth? And what happens when you align your energy with nature’s energy?
Host and founder Kissey Asplund takes the inner energy studio Generation Watts outside. Join us in the ancient redwood forest of Muir Woods, California. Enjoy a fully in-person and on-location guided meditation on growth, collaboration, and being in harmony with nature. This is raw nature energy at its most ancient and powerful vibration. For Kissey, stepping into the redwoods for the first time was an experience that oscillated her entire body.
Nature isn’t just a backdrop—it’s a frequency system that we humans also use. The ancient coast redwoods of Muir Woods have been oscillating their energy for over 1,200 years—some trees standing almost 78.6 meters (258ft) tall—the equivalent of 14 giraffes stacked on top of each other. The redwoods don’t force their growth. They don’t use someone else’s energy to manifest themselves. They simply resonate at their own frequency.
What makes the redwoods even more remarkable is how they interact with their environment. Their extraordinary height allows them to transport coastal fog. The redwood canopies capture it like nets. Between 25 and 40 percent of the moisture found in the redwood ecosystem comes directly from fog. The trees literally draw water down from the air through their leaves and channel it to their roots, and share it with other plants in the forest. Redwoods are the first trees found to move water in both directions—from roots to leaves and from leaves back down to roots—a biological system of give and receive. Today, only 3% of the original redwood range still stands; 97% has been logged and altered.
The redwoods are creative masters of growth in the truest sense. They have great lessons to teach us, especially with growth and growth patterns. They know how to use these patterns instinctively; humans are still learning.
At the core of this meditation is a simple but powerful reminder—everything we need is already within. Growth doesn’t require us to reach outside. True inner peace doesn’t come from external achievements. To grow, we must collaborate within ourselves and with others.
In this episode, enjoy a guided meditation filmed live at the Muir Woods with ambient sounds of the forest. Nature itself is part of the experience.
The forest has been here for over a thousand years. It knows how to grow. Let teach you.

I'm in the redwoods with the redwood trees. There's something that happens when you step into the redwoods. Connection to source, vibrating much more powerful than they've ever felt it before. Today's meditation is about growth, collaboration, and being in harmony with nature. That's why I brought you here to the Muir Woods in California. Go to the meditation chapter if you want to hop directly into the meditation. This is crazy. I've always dreamt of seeing the redwoods. There's so much energy. Like raw nature energy. My lips may be chapped. Such pure energy straight down.
It's making my whole body vibrate, which is really it's really cool. People say that they are 600 to 800 years on average and the oldest one being,200 years old. Look at this guy.
I'll give you the scale. The rabbit trees in this area average around 78.6 m. So that's 258 ft. That's equivalent to 14 giraffes stacked on top of each other. Today only 3% of the original range still stands. 97% has been logged or altered. Good to be which has interrupted the environment. the tallness of the trees and the fog that people call Carl. They actually pull down humidity and pull it into the ground. It helps to nurture, helps to bring in dampness into the woods and help the ecosystem. All right. So, we're going to do a meditation with the red woods because at least in this part, we need to harmonize.
And you can join me wherever you are.
And you'll hear people walk by.
Just breath in through nose and out through mouth.
So, All they want to do is to harmonize with us. They want to work with us.
They don't want to be persecuted, which is kind of how they feel right now.
So everything is energy. Everything is is
energetic knowing or energetic capacity that is resonating at different vibrations and oscillations.
They have a lot to teach us because they really know the pattern of growth and we as humans really need to learn the pattern of growth. They are creative masters in that way and we could learn a bunch from them.
So everything has a consciousness even most inanimate object has an awareness of some sort. I wouldn't call it sentience but it has an awareness of what it is in order for all that energy to form into that geometry. And that's very important to acknowledge that everything is co-creating this reality at all times,
including the dirty laundry on your floor.
They want to teach us what true inner peace is.
And
if you go to a forest that is as old and raw as this one, you'll feel the
the harmony, the peacefulness, but also the respect and that's very important. So there's it has to respect boundaries.
Uh we need to learn how to respect boundaries especially in between humans ‘cause sometimes we don't even respect boundaries between or many times that's why we get in trouble.
This meditation is to remind us that we don't need anything outside of ourselves. that everything is perfect in its imperfection. No matter your size,
you have to walk in your grandness and don't elevate things outside of yourself.
Breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
