Mental Strength isn’t about Positive Thinking—What to Do Instead.
Using POSITIVE THINKING when feeling negative emotions can cause Phase Cancellation (especially if we don’t do it right).
This means that the waves nullify each other. Instead of building momentum for us, the energy cancels out, looping us back into the issue over again.
In this video, watch Kissey Asplund break down how to approach building mental strength and how to create an inner energy environment that is clear and solid even in the most high-pressure or challenging times.

How to Shift a Negative Mindset into Mental Strength—Positive Thinking is Not the Answer.
Why Positive Thinking isn’t The Answer When Looking at Energy.
The complex nature of our mindset can make “positive thinking” a hindrance. Instead of bringing us forward, it keeps us in denial and emotional suppression during high-level performance (such as building a business, creating art, competing in athletics performance). This is because of a frequency-effect called Phase Cancellation. This phenomenon can nullify the energy waves, cloaking the negative thought for a brief period of time, only for it to later reappear under similar circumstances.

Instead, I recommend we take advantage of current energetic state and intentionally build mental resilience. I discuss how in this video, and we also coach clients on this methodology here at Generation Watts.
Often when I look at the energy, the issue is not the individual’s outlook, but that there is an incoming energy (an external pattern) that is influencing their decisions. People can inherit these external programs from family patterns, cultural conditioning, or societal norms. To adjust such energy, we must observe, release, and update it. This allows us to fuel success from our inner energy.
How does this feel? Instead of running energy that is burdening, heavy, and strict; we run an energy that celebrates life, enjoys the challenge, and looks forward to mastery. Your evolution—becoming better and becoming yourself—is a celebration that the entire universe celebrates. This means that when we create, we create in celebration of life instead of sacrificing life to create. We build businesses that provide energy to us, rather than extracting our hours, time, and sleep from us.
In this latest Generation Watts video, I discuss how to approach building mental resilience while under high-pressure, stress, and peak-performance conditions. You’ll learn:
How phase cancellation affects manifestation, creativity, and performance
Watch drawing examples to help clarify the concepts
Some tools you can implement today to shift and build mental strength
How to think more clearly, remain in present-state of control, and build energy while facing challenges
How to approach mistakes and miscalculations, and use these as feedback and data.
